it's a giveaway...

11-28-2012 was my first blog post... that year went by speedy quick... it's fun to look back at things that we've done together, things that i've made... thoughts that i've had at different times...

i'm glad i'm sticking with it... while sometimes there are lulls in the amount that i post, i still love the fact that it's an online journal of our life... and the sense of community that blogging has is not quite like any other... it's fun to know that my words are reaching other people and that their words are reaching me simply by logging onto the computer... i find people's lives to be so interesting and when they open up and share glimpses of it through photos accompanying their words, i'm roped right in... connections and friendships are made...

thanks to everyone of you who take the time out of your busy days to read this little space i have carved out here... it means a lot to me!

now... for some fun...

how's about a little giveaway to celebrate my one year marker?  a holiday bunting, along with a couple of my other favorite things... i'd love to share these gifts with one of you... sending off happy mail makes me happy...

just comment below for the chance... how about you tell me some of your favorite things... or maybe topics that you like reading about here... or just say hey... it'll be fun!

i'll draw the winner on december 8th...

good luck to you!

My favorite things this winter are the salt dough ornaments I made with my children for our Christmas tree and the snowflakes we made for the windows. Love seeing those little handprints on the tree. We didnt have any christmas theme cookie cutters and so we had to use a dinosaur set. It cracks me up seeing all these little dinosaurs hanging on the tree.

I love all of the cute projects that you come up with. It is always exciting to see what will come next! The fabric combinations always look good together. You have a great eye for it!

I love all the glimpses of real life you share with us...and, of course, the craftiness. As for my favorite things - coffee, a soft blanket, snuggles with my girls, peanut m&ms :) Congrats on one year, my friend!
